After we did not produce the Spätburgunder Cuvée in 2021, we are now looking forward to show the new ’22 Spätburgunder. It shows a big diversity from different plots and different clones, different soils – from loess, volcanic to limestone. We were able to take over a new Bleuwen plot, which for us has not yet the potential for the single vineyard wine. That’s why we downgraded 2 barrels to this cuvée. This is our idea to increase the total quality of this wine and shows an overview from our different terroirs.
