A full-bodied, powerful, sweet wine made from apples in a way very similar to the process of making port wine.
To increase the must weight, dried fruits ("Dörrobst" in German) have been macerated in the mash, concentrating the entire aroma spectrum. After the must had fermented, it was fortified with Peter's own apple brandy until the yeast died. This way, the residual sugar was preserved, and the one-year maturing period in new barriques could begin. Bottled in December 2022.
